This is our experience in the famous Jemaa el Fna Square in Marrakech. The pressures to separate us from our money were great and that part we did not enjoy. It’s interesting, but hard to have fun and somewhat over-touristy. We both got good haircuts there, though. And some areas, deeper in were definitely more relaxed. I think you just have to get beyond the tourist area.
