Driving a yellow-yellow is not as easy as it looks. This is my driving lesson in a nutshell. I only stalled it once, or twice, but didn’t do too bad for my first try.
Let me know if you want to see a full video about this driving lesson.

Hello
do you know if it’s possible to buy or to rent a tuk tuk for one month, in order to travel through Ghana. Without driver I mean. I want to get my own tuk tuk.
Thank you 🙂
Yannick
Sorry I didn’t see this sooner.
As far as I know, tuk-tuks aren’t allowed in Accra (I’ve never seen one there.)
For the rest of the country it would probably work. I don’t think there are any official-type rental places. You could work something out with an individual, but the ones they use are pretty beat up and I’d question driving the long distances in it, and you might end up with a bunch of repairs.
You could buy a tuk-tuk, but I don’t know what paperwork issues there might be.
Just a note, in Cape Coast they have 2 kinds of tuk-tuk. But if I were buying one, I’d jump up to Tamale where you’ll have the most options if you want to take a shot with a used one. There’s also a dealership right on the main drag, if you want to get one new.
