Inside a 3-Day Ghanaian Wedding: The Most Colorful Celebration Ever

Experience the incredible beauty, culture, and energy of a traditional 3-day Muslim wedding right in the heart of Tamale, Ghana!

From a deep dive into the beautiful religious traditions inside the mosque to an absolute explosion of color, music, and fashion on the streets, this celebration is one we will never forget.

Our beautiful friend, the bride, absolutely stole the show by wearing NINE different, jaw-dropping dresses over the first two days of the celebration. Each time she stepped out in a new outfit and flawlessly dramatic makeup, she walked through the neighborhood to greet, thank, and bless friends, family, and neighbors.

I was even able to film inside the mosque where the groom handled his part of the wedding ceremony.

You’ll also get a true taste of local hospitality as the community comes together! See how the neighborhood women teamed up to cook massive feasts in giant vats across two residential courtyards, and join us under the main tent right on the local streets for some high-energy modern dancing!

If you want to see the warmth, community spirit, and incredible style of a Northern Ghanaian wedding, hit play and celebrate with us!
