Pretending to Be a Tourist on Oxford Street in Osu, Accra, Ghana

Ah, the adventures of a newbie tourist – or so they thought. If you’re visiting Ghana, you’re definitely going to want to watch this. I really spill the tea here.

While visiting Accra, Ghana, I went to Oxford Street, a famous expat and tourist hangout – and I pretended to be an absolute tourist.

Oh, and here’s a link for my Accra Guidebook in all formats (+ there’s a free Ghana packing list on the same page) – Accra: An Opinionated City Guide

Some of the reactions, I expected. Some were were less-than-great, and some were awesome. These are my adventures on Oxford Street – with commentary.

Sorry if the sound is rough in places. There was a lot of street noise and I tried to process it out, but sometimes that gets weird, too.
